Unfortunately for Red Sox fans, Kevin Youkilis did not make the All-Star team. Nick Swisher beat him out, despite the fact that Youk had better stats than Swisher. The Red Sox are still sending three representatives (Adrian Beltre, David Ortiz, and Jon Lester) to the game. Lester starts tonight, looking for his eleventh win.
The Yankees will either acquire Cliff Lee or face him tonight. They are believed to be finalizing a deal for Lee in which the Yanks will give up a great number of players. Lee is slated to start for Seattle tonight against New York.
